Gui'an trail race brings speed, passion, and scenery

The 2026 Running Guiyang "Cool Guiyang · Data Valley Gui'an" Fitness Trail Race on June 28 drew more than 600 enthusiasts from across the country to Gui'an New Area for a summer date that blended exercise with stunning landscapes.

The race featured three categories: the 22-kilometer Xingyue Group, the 12-km Yueliang Group, and the 3.3-km Xingxing Group. The course started and ended at Yuelianghu Park, threading through the park's ecological landscape belt. Along the way, runners passed through characteristic hamlets, forested areas, and wetlands, with lake views, mountain scenery, and pastoral vistas unfolding layer by layer – offering picturesque views at every step.

In the height of summer, Guiyang offers refreshingly cool weather and gentle breezes, creating an ideal environment for participants, allowing them to race freely along the mountain trails and immerse themselves in the exhilarating experience of trail running.

After intense competition, the top three male and female finishers in both the Xingyue Group and the Yueliang Group were recognized with trophies and prize money. Meanwhile, all runners who completed their races received finisher medals.
