During the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 15 to 23, Qingzhen city organized 25 unique cultural, commercial, sports, and tourism activities, offering an immersive Chinese New Year experience. By Feb 23, major scenic spots in the city had welcomed over 239,000 visitors, with the holiday economy continuing to heat up.

Qingzhen's key attractions saw both visitor numbers and revenue rise. The Shiguang Guizhou Scenic Area hosted 179,669 visitors, a 5.14 percent increase year-on-year, generating a total income of 19.25 million yuan ($2.81 million), up by 2.69 percent. Dinosaur Town welcomed 32,849 visitors, marking a 19.59 percent increase, with revenue reaching 3.78 million yuan, a 15.14 percent growth rate.
These impressive results are backed by Qingzhen's outstanding cultural and tourism planning. The city designed five distinctive tourist routes, linking key attractions like Dinosaur Town with core commercial areas, catering to diverse tourist needs such as folk culture experiences and hot spring wellness.

Moreover, innovative upgrades in consumer scenarios serve as the powerful engine of the holiday economy. Qingzhen established a Chinese New Year goods shopping scene, an "experience + consumption" immersive cultural scene, and a homestay consumption scene. These initiatives connected 12 towns and sub-districts across the city, creating a one-stop shopping platform.
The booming tourism market during the holiday not only showcased Qingzhen's charm but also invigorated the holiday economy, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry throughout the year.
