Weicheng town in Qingzhen city attracted over 10,000 visitors in the first three days of its Chinese New Year folk activities, which began on Feb 16 alongside nine rural cultural events.

The Weicheng Chinese New Year Folk Huapo event, a highlight of this cultural celebration, will run until March 3, offering a comprehensive dining, travel, shopping, and entertainment experience. The event blends traditional and modern performances, including dragon and lion dances and Sichuan opera face-changing, with evening bonfire parties further engaging visitors in song and dance, creating a lively atmosphere.
The town's Chinese New Year market showcases local specialties and green agricultural products, with a bustling food street featuring nearly 100 unique snacks. A theme park also offers entertainment for all ages, with an open public stage inviting everyone to sing and dance.
