The Qingzhen Spring Festival Folk Carnival is set to take place from Feb 19 to 22 at the Shanshan Outlet Plaza and key streets in Qingzhen city, Guiyang.
Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including traditional performances, martial arts showcases, themed markets, and family-friendly interactions, all designed to offer a unique taste of Qingzhen's festive spirit.

The carnival features four thematic days: Folk Culture Day, Martial Arts Day, Fortune and Blessings Day, and Joyful Singing Day. On Feb 19, Folk Culture Day will feature a lineup of traditional performances such as ethnic Paige songs, Zimei Xiao flutes, and local Dixi operas.
The 800-square-meter festive market will open simultaneously, offering the year's first batch of Chinese New Year gift bags for free. The market will feature a wide array of local delicacies, specialty agricultural products, and Chinese New Year goods.

At the heritage experience zone, visitors will be able to participate in mask-making for local Dixi opera, wood carving, batik dyeing, and melon lantern carving. There will also be a lottery for free experience slots.
Throughout the carnival, visitors will be able to enjoy double discounts from consumption vouchers and store promotions, with limited-edition items like traditional combo meals and martial arts-themed children's clothing available for purchase.
