During the 2026 New Year holiday, Qingzhen city organized 11 diverse cultural, commercial, sports, and tourism activities, significantly boosting the local tourism market. From Jan 1 to 3, the city received 152,475 visits and generated a total tourism revenue of 65.57 million yuan ($9.39 million).

Scenic spots' events were particularly noteworthy. Time Guizhou hosted roadside concerts, New Year's Eve celebrations, and intangible cultural heritage DIY experiences, receiving 39,033 visits and generating 1.74 million yuan in revenue over three days. Four Seasons Guizhou, with its "Hot Springs and New Year Celebrations" theme, attracted 3,150 visitors, achieving 820,000 yuan in revenue. Village Guizhou held the "Village Song Seasons" concert and the 2026 New Year Goods Festival, drawing 1,746 visitors and earning 66,500 yuan.
Traditional rural activities added a unique charm, with events like the Shuijing Xibu community's New Year Joy Fest, Lanbai Town's long-table pork feast, and Shangshui village's pork feast offering tourists a deep dive into rural customs.
Commercial activities also thrived, with the New Year's Eve celebration at Wuyue Plaza drawing many locals and Shanshan Outlet receiving 17,213 visits over the holiday. Additionally, the 2026 Qingzhen City New Year Run further promoted the integration of sports and tourism.
