Qingzhen city unveiled its original sports IP event, "Sentinel Challenge", with a public test event on Oct 25. Over 100 citizens, families, and sports enthusiasts participated, marking the official launch of this innovative competition.
The "Sentinel Challenge" featured separate zones for adults and children. Participants navigated a series of fun obstacles, including balance beams, climbing nets, rings, and low nets. Those who completed all challenges received certificates and cultural badges and became eligible for the official competition.

The "Sentinel Training Camp" offered a variety of activities, from water gun battles to archery and wooden sword crafting, ensuring enjoyment for visitors of all ages. The event also featured activities, like inviting visitors to explore traditional crafts such as wood carving, tie-dye, batik, pottery, and embroidery.
This cultural and tourism event is led by Pingyuanshao village in Qingzhen and draws inspiration from the area's unique military garrison culture and rich historical heritage.
The "Sentinel Challenge" will become a regular event, organized by villages and held on a weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual basis. Its goal is to establish Qingzhen – as well as Guiyang – as a premier destination for team-building, family education, and weekend leisure, thereby boosting local incomes and rural vitalization.
