Qingzhen National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival tourism boom

Qingzhen city in Guiyang organized 18 diverse cultural, commercial, sports, and tourism activities during the 2025 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, creating a lively celebration marked by innovation, creativity, and sincerity.

Hongfeng Lake attracted tourists for driving tours, offering spectacular autumn scenery and a chance to appreciate the lake's natural beauty.

A new viral hotspot, the Yaoyan Cliffside Cafe, offers visitors a unique experience of sipping coffee while enjoying breathtaking canyon views. In Xindian town, rural tourism integrates natural landscapes, creating an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility and a closer connection to nature.

Qingzhen has also curated three travel routes. The Family Leisure Tour includes archaeological fun at Dinosaur Town, farm picking at Jinxin Courtyard, and the chance to experience Bouyei culture at Lanbai village, blending entertainment and education for a heartwarming family experience.

The Youth Adventure Tour features lakeside camping, exploring the wonders of Shilong Cave, and paragliding over the Yachi River, all tailored for adventurous young people.

The Elderly Wellness Tour offers a slower pace, including tea tastings at Hongfeng Lake Tea Expo Park, savoring traditional cuisine in Weicheng Ancient Town, and enjoying the tranquil, elegant lifestyle that captures Qingzhen's charm.

The city welcomed 915,000 tourists over the holidays, an increase of 13.87 percent from last year. This resulted in 480 million yuan ($67.38 million) in tourism revenue, marking a 14.34 percent increase.
