Qingzhen sees significant progress in educational development

In recent years, Qingzhen city in Guiyang has used its strategic location to advance high-quality educational development, achieving remarkable progress.

In 2024, the city added 4,650 new student seats, with plans to add another 3,695 in 2025. Over the past three years, 1,167 certified teachers have been recruited. In 2024, Qingzhen led the 10 districts and counties of Guiyang in county-level education funding.

Currently, Qingzhen boasts 16 provincial and municipal model kindergartens and six high-quality public compulsory education schools. Through initiatives such as the revitalization of No 1 High School, the enhancement of No 4 High School, and the diversified development of private high schools, the city has significantly improved its high school education standards.

Various specialized schools in Qingzhen are cultivating well-rounded students. Qingzhen No 3 High School's artistic rope skipping and science and innovation competitions from Qingzhen No 1, No 4, and Weicheng High Schools have received accolades at the national, provincial, and municipal levels.

Qingzhen plans to integrate urban and rural schools, promote both public and private institutions, and manage principals, teachers, and students cohesively to foster balanced educational development.
