Qing'ou Shisanyue Kindergarten, one of the 2025 "Ten Key Education Projects" in Guiyang's Qingzhen, is preparing to welcome its first batch of students as the fall semester approaches.
The kindergarten features six classes, accommodating 180 students, with a total investment of 11.7 million yuan ($16.40million). It is equipped with a reading room, a multipurpose hall, an outdoor cycling area, and more.
"The kindergarten has prepared for the new school year by assembling a teaching team, procuring necessary equipment, and completing air quality tests," said Zuo Ting, the kindergarten's deputy director.
Five schools in Qingzhen are involved in the ten key projects this year. Qing'ou Shisanyue Kindergarten and Weicheng Primary School are both ready to open in September, while Qingzhen No 4 Middle School, Yihao Dayuan Kindergarten, and Ronghui Yipin Supporting Kindergarten are still under construction. They are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
