Since the beginning of the summer season, Qingzhen city's sojourn sector has been thriving. After achieving revenue of 47.48 million yuan ($6.62 million) in the first half of the year, the city has continued to capitalize on the summer peak to push toward its annual tourism industry target.
Thanks to its refreshing average temperature of 22 C and ecological advantages, Qingzhen has designed 39 integrated cultural, commercial, educational, sports, and travel activities around six core experiential scenarios to capitalize on the summer tourism boom.

Nestled on the north bank of Hongfeng Lake, Shanshu village boasts a 20-kilometer lakeshore and is lauded as "Guiyang's most beautiful lakeside spot". Many homestays in this village have readied themselves, introducing beach areas, swimming pools, swings, BBQ feasts, and sunset music festivals to enhance visitors' experiences.
Dachong village, located along the shores of Hongfeng Lake, has capitalized on its rich ethnic culture and ecotourism resources to create a variety of unique homestays, farm stays, and coffee shops, providing visitors with abundant leisure spaces. Currently hosting 81 homestays, the village offers accommodations, BBQs, coffees, long table feasts, and whole lamb roasts, resulting in a 30 percent year-on-year increase in visitor flow this year.

As of mid-July, Qingzhen's sojourn market is on a positive trajectory, with 2,541 individuals already booking medium to long-term stays, marking a 15 percent surge. Out-of-province visitors, primarily from hot summer regions like Chongqing, Sichuan, and Guangdong, account for around 89 percent of the total tourist influx.
