Qingzhen city has been advancing the standardized construction of village clinics as a crucial livelihood project. Since 2021, over 10 million yuan ($1.39 million) has been invested in comprehensively upgrading 40 village clinics, providing residents with higher-quality, convenient healthcare services right on their doorsteps.
"The quality improvement of village clinics also incorporates intelligent medical equipment," said Li Qingping, director of the Zhanjie Town Central Health Center. He emphasized that informatization construction has been a key driver propelling the service capacity of village clinics.

For instance, the unified Health Information System and related intelligent auxiliary systems at the county, township, and village levels enable village doctors to access patients' medical histories directly, enhancing the standardization and accuracy of common diagnoses and treatments.
Following the designation of the Dachong village clinic as a medical institution for basic medical insurance, elderly and chronically ill patients can now conveniently access medical insurance benefits. The application of the "Alipay Health Insurance One-Code Payment" has also propelled medical insurance services into the digital era.
From revitalized clinics to an integrated hospital information management system, Qingzhen's continuous four-year effort in upgrading village clinics is reshaping the rural healthcare landscape.
Qingzhen will continue to promote the improvement of village-level medical and health service capabilities, ensuring people's healthcare service needs are met and enhancing the overall healthcare service experience of communities.
