Qingzhen City Crop Service Center's inspection team has been conducting yield assessments of rapeseed crops. Based on the results, the city's 162,000 mu (10,800 hectares) of rapeseed are expected to yield 18,800 metric tons, marking an 8.5 percent increase compared to last year.
The crops are ripening, with some areas already beginning harvest. Large-scale harvesting is anticipated to commence by mid-May.

Qingzhen's agriculture and rural affairs bureau has focused on "increasing the yield per unit area of grain and oil crops". A comprehensive "Five Measures" strategy has been implemented to ensure planting areas, provide agricultural technical guidance, conduct disaster prevention and mitigation, offer agricultural policy support, and foster key agricultural entities.
To date, Qingzhen has planted 255,500 mu of grain, including 45,700 mu of summer crops and 209,800 mu of autumn crops, with 76,600 mu ready for rice seedling cultivation.
