Qingzhen Senior University hosts ICH study tour

Qingzhen Senior University launched an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) study tour on May 8 at the Hu Yidiao Intangible Cultural Heritage Printing Experience Center in Qingzhen, Guiyang city.

Hu Jiawen, an ICH printing inheritor, introduced participants to the origins of Hu Yidiao's cultural heritage. In the hands-on session, Hu explained the basic materials needed for printing, showcased different types of paper, and detailed the printing process. Participants were then invited to try printing to experience the art of text and image reproduction firsthand.

In recent years, Qingzhen Senior University has been dedicated to promoting and preserving China's outstanding traditional culture. Through regular courses, cultural observations, and experiential study tours, the university has integrated traditional culture into its curriculum, earning widespread acclaim from its students.

The establishment of the ICH study base has been instrumental in meeting the diverse learning needs of students, expanding educational resources for the elderly, and fostering a deep integration of education with tourism, wellness, and cultural industries. This also contributes to the development of the elderly economy and supports the high-quality advancement of elderly education.

The university plans to organize more study tours and experiential activities centered around China's traditional culture, encouraging participants to contribute to the preservation and promotion of this rich heritage.
