Qingzhen county-level city in Guiyang welcomed a remarkable 869,100 tourists during the May Day holiday from May 1 to 5, marking an 11.69 percent increase compared to last year. The tourism sector generated a total revenue of 480 million yuan ($66.42 million), reflecting a 13.43 percent year-on-year growth.

During the holiday, Qingzhen integrated tourism, culture, commerce, and sports to offer a series of over 20 engaging events. Noteworthy itineraries included a 2-day family tour, a 3-day youth exploration trip, and a 2-day leisure and wellness tour.
Meanwhile, Qingzhen's cultural and tourism market, along with local businesses, introduced a variety of trendy activities and promotional offers. Highlights included the spring experience activity at Xinghe Bibo Camp in Xiaohe village, offering a full sensory immersion in spring. Visitors also enjoyed paragliding and camping at Sanhe village, and the "May Day Food Festival" at Shanshan Outlet.

In the automotive sector, promotional events by Audi and BYD dealerships featured group purchase discounts, significantly boosting sales. Guizhou Jun'ao Audi 4S Store reported over 20 car orders in the first four days of the holiday thanks to these attractive offers.
Qingzhen also showcased its diverse tourism offerings, including traditional cultural tourism, eco-health tourism, natural landscape tourism, and mountain sports tourism. This vibrant mix highlighted Qingzhen's stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage, drawing visitors from near and far.
