South Korean delegation visits Qingzhen

On April 12, a delegation of South Korean culture and tourism industry representatives visited Qingzhen, adding an international touch to the city's rural areas.

Qingzhen highlighted its recent advancements in cultural tourism, which offer a strategic shift for enhancing inbound tourism development and supporting Guizhou's goal of becoming a world-class tourist destination.

"Qingzhen has many good products besides homestays and entertainment projects," said Gao Yanqiong, chairman of Guizhou Guochuang Technology Group, "We hope Qingzhen can enrich its cultural and creative products by incorporating more international elements and closely integrating business and culture."

Qingzhen's pioneering homestay management measures have created a thriving homestay industry. The city has 14 rural tourism villages, 17 key rural tourism towns, and 208 homestays and accommodations with 1,535 rooms and 2,030 beds distributed around Hongfeng Lake and the Yachi River area of Dongfeng Lake.

Chwe Myongson, director of the Incheon Tourism Development Bureau in South Korea, handed a souvenir to the representative of Qingzhen before departure to express her and her companions' gratitude.

Qingzhen will utilize the 240-hour transit visa-free policy to combine its cultural and tourism advantages with the needs of overseas tourists, promote cooperation between scenic spots and travel agencies, and attract more inbound tourists.
