A signing ceremony for the establishment of sister schools in Guizhou and Hong Kong was held at Cuiwei Primary School of Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on March 24.

A total of 20 schools in Guizhou and Hong Kong have established long-term friendly exchange relationships after becoming sister schools, enabling mutual learning, sharing, progress, and development for the benefit of teachers and students in both regions.

During the signing ceremony, eight schools including Ta Ku Ling Ling Ying Public School from Hong Kong and Cuiwei Primary School from Guiyang formally became sister schools.

As representatives of the sister schools, the two schools shared their educational styles and collaborative visions, showcasing a strong sense of cooperation and comprehensive exchanges.

That day also featured a donation ceremony, during which the Hong Kong-Guizhou Cultural Exchange Fund and Macao Chong Wa Innovation and Technology Development Promotion Association signed an agreement. Representatives from Hong Kong and Guizhou schools received information technology courses donated by the Macao association.

Since 2015, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and Guizhou Provincial Department of Education have worked hand in hand to implement the "Guizhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan education exchange action and sister school plan" as a way to enhance educational and cultural exchanges, as well as further open up and promote the high-quality development of Guizhou's educational system.
