Qingzhen hosts intangible cultural heritage exhibition

Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently held an intangible cultural heritage exhibition, which was themed on the Spring Festival.

Yue Zhen, president of the Guizhou Arts and Crafts Association, and Zhang Bin, director of the intangible cultural heritage center of the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, provided guidance on promoting the integration of culture and tourism, as well as the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

Liu Jiwu, president of the Qingzhen Arts and Crafts Association, reported on the progress of the association's work in 2023 and commended 10 outstanding artisans.

The event attracted the enthusiastic participation from numerous guests and citizens, featuring activities such as making traditional sticky rice cakes, writing Spring Festival couplets, a lottery for intangible cultural heritage works, and artistic performances.

Inside the exhibition hall, a dazzling array of artistic works, including wood carvings, stone carvings, copperplate engravings, embroidery, ceramics, lacquerware, and various intangible cultural creative works, captivated visitors with their exquisite craftsmanship.
