Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has established a joint venture with companies engaged in research and development of emerging energy technology. The goal is to promote the development of a clean, low-carbon, and sustainable green energy system. The first 1MWp distributed photovoltaic project in the Qingzhen Economic & Technological Development Zone is currently being prepared for investment, construction, and operation.

Qingzhen also recycles aluminum waste from enterprises and follows the "resource-product-recycled resource" pattern. This provides raw materials for downstream enterprises and automotive die-casting companies, forming a closed-loop green aluminum industrial chain. All local recycled aluminum projects have been put into operation, processing 170,000 metric tons of aluminum solid waste annually.

In addition, the city is combining resource reduction and utilization methods to develop a complete solid waste emission reduction system by selecting aluminum ore, reducing impurities such as iron, silicon, and carbon in the ore, and improving the treatment of solid waste in aluminum production.
