Qingzhen strives to achieve balanced education for children

There are currently 297 schools of all kinds in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, with a total of 124,000 students and 8,653 teaching faculties.

The city is attempting to equitably distribute its educational resources by implementing professional educational groups, constructing demonstration school buildings, and creating additional branches of esteemed schools.

Over the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20), the city collectively invested 160 million yuan ($22.4 million) to give primary and secondary schools internet access. The government has also established a big data cloud platform for education, serving 102 schools.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Qingzhen announces that it will set up 36 new schools.
