Spring ploughing begins in Qingzhen

Farmers in Qingzhen, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, have been storing farming materials and loosening the soil for the period of spring ploughing in the new year.

The departments in charge of agriculture and rural affairs in Qingzhen have organized for agricultural technicians and experts to deliver guidance and offer tips to grain, vegetable and fruit growers.

The government has also led agricultural machinery repair and maintenance activities to ensure that the machines are ready to go for the spring ploughing season.
