Mayor researches 10 major industries

Wu Yongkang, mayor of Qingzhen city in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, launched a research trip on Feb 27 to local companies to gain an insight into the city's 10 major industries. 

Wu visited Qingzhen Sencheng Cultural Tourism Investment Co, Guizhou Nanfang Dairy Co, and several other companies to familiarize himself with their operations, products, technologies, market outlooks and reforms.

Government units at all levels were expected to carry out the responsibility accountability mechanism, cultivate market entities in a targeted manner, and strengthen support for local major enterprises to ensure the stable and sustainable development of the economy. Officials were required to coordinate and address existing problems in industrial operations.
