Qingzhen to form 100b yuan modern service industry cluster

The county-level city of Qingzhen – administered by Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – is reportedly embarking on a major commercial venture.

A news conference held in Qingzhen on Dec 25 outlined plans for the city to form a 100-billion yuan ($1.96 billion) modern services industrial cluster that features trading and commodities trading.

Blessed by advantages in natural environment, geographical location, and investment environment, Qingzhen's air quality has always been rated high in the national ranking. The city is situated at the juncture between Guiyang and Guian New Area, Qingzhen boasts many kinds of folk culture, and its logistics industrial parks have been recognized as excellent in the nation for four years in a row.

Qingzhen currently is home to more than 50,000 business entities and 122 industrial enterprises above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more. With the number of its permanent residents exceeding 600,000, the city is expected to expand its population to 750,000 by 2025.

 In addition, data collected show that Qingzhen has managed to cultivate over 30,000 all kinds of talents for places throughout China.

Trading businesses in Qingzhen will be integrated into the development of tourism. Meanwhile, the international logistics district featuring e-commerce and professional markets will be built based on road and railway pivots.
