The city of Qingzhen in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has combined measures to raise the level of rural modernization among villages.

The city will strengthen its industrial foundation by issuing government subsidies for farming land and growing crops, continue its efforts to implement high-quality farmland project, and optimize its five major agricultural sectors.

By 2025, Qingzhen plans to improve more than 666.67 hectares of low-yield orchards and increase the area of fruit-growing land to around 11,333.33 hectares. The upgrading of the tea industry will receive particular focus.

Measures will also be rolled out to cultivate qualified rural laborers by initiating vocational training programs and encouraging migrant workers returning to Qingzhen to start businesses.

A rural revitalization fund system and credit-based guarantee system will also be established, and the government will guide the transformation of farmers into technicians and work toward new breakthroughs in agricultural mechanization.

Around 30 demonstration villages are planned for construction by 2025, and industrial chains related to forestry, including forest growing, research, processing, selling, travel and culture, are expected to have taken shape by that time.

Meanwhile, infrastructure construction in rural areas involving water, roads, gas, electricity and communication will be further enhanced.
