Located in the core area of Guiyang and Guian, Qingzhen Logistics New City occupies a total area of 31.64 square kilometers. After nine years of development, it has been transformed from an inhospitable place into a prosperous hub for many industrial clusters – modern logistics, automobile trade, engineering machinery trade, smart home systems, food and subsidiary foodstuff, and eco-tours.

The new city registered a yearly output of 20 billion yuan ($3 billion) last year, and has been selected as a national excellent logistics parks for four years in a row.

While many enterprises in the new city have felt the negative impact of the coronavirus since last year, Guizhou Dinggua Logistics Co has seen more than 40 million yuan in sales revenue this year, which is largely due to the guidance and assistance offered by the Qingzhen Logistics New City Construction and Service Center.

"Although the overall market has shrunk, and profits in our sector have taken a hit, the nation has rolled out many supporting policies. With support from all levels of the government, we have the confidence to weather the difficulties," said Xi Lin, general manager of the company.

In addition, Qingzhen is also stepping up efforts to build a railway port, a modern cold-chain logistics distribution center, and an international land-sea logistics port in order to boost its modern logistics sector.
