The government of Qingzhen in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seized upon development opportunities and chosen Red Maple Lake town as the location for the Red Maple Lake National Agricultural Park, making it a demonstration zone for rural revitalization.

The city plans to accelerate efforts to protect natural preservation areas, strengthen land planning, and ensure the completion of supporting projects in the park.

Construction policy will be based on resource distribution, geography, industrial foundation, and people's will.

The park will receive a total of 788 million yuan ($118.2 million) in investment and occupy an area of 174.57 square kilometers.

In addition, Qingzhen will work harder to cultivate new agricultural operation entities by leading dominant enterprises, managing land transfer affairs, and adjusting the local agricultural structure.

Two missions stand out in park construction – making local villagers affluent and protecting the ecosystem of the red maple lake.
