The government service center of Qingzhen in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been built into a satisfactory "citizen's home" amid the government's efforts to streamline administrative procedures, delegate powers, and upgrade government services.

The government service center makes people feel at home by offering baby care rooms, lounges, printing areas, book bars, barrier-free access, umbrellas, wheelchairs, ATMs, and designating service guides.

Striving to provide citizens with comprehensive one-stop services, the center has hired all kinds of service guides to help people in need, including helping them fill out forms, review materials, and post credentials.

To better help the elderly deal with government affairs, the center has rolled out a series of green channels, saving potential trouble the elderly might meet in the process.

The center has solicited opinions from enterprises by handing out feedback sheets, holding meetings, and sending officials to visit companies in order to learn about common obstacles faced by entrepreneurs.
