A promotional activity was held by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism on the 2021 Cultural and Natural Heritage Day on June 12, in order to increase people's awareness of the importance of protecting intangible cultural heritage items and expanding traditional Chinese culture.
Qingzhen participated in the event, showcased erhu folk music of the Yi ethnic group, seven intangible cultural heritage workshops and enterprises, and brought major intangible cultural heritage inheritors to the activity.
During the promotional activity, intangible cultural crafts and skills were exhibited, classic cultural programs were staged, food and products related to intangible culture were displayed, and people were taught about laws associated with the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
Qingzhen's seven intangible cultural heritage workshops involved earthware, handicrafts, dress making, and carving. Its erhu folk music, which made Guiyang's list of representative intangible cultural heritage items in 2020, was also performed and delivered in real-time on the Kuaishou app.
In addition, people unable to attend the feast can buy products and handicrafts online at e-shops run by intangible cultural heritage inheritors on Kuaishou.
