In order to purify its advertisement market and build a more secure consumption environment for people young and old, Qingzhen's bureau of market regulation has recently stepped up its efforts to further regulate the promotional activities of sellers in the city.

The bureau made patrols of the city's laneways, tourist sites, shops and drug stores, and carefully inspected information issued via LED screens outdoors, cracking down on fake, uncertified or unauthorized advertisements in areas like health maintenance, medical care and cosmetics.

In order to prevent young people from being misled by misleading promotional messages, the bureau focused on commercial advertisements, including educational institutions, beauty salons, supermarkets, and cosmetics stores.

The bureau also reinforced guidance to the city's advertising sector, urging them to enhance their self-discipline and prevent illegal promotions.

So far, the bureau has issued administrative proposals to six educational institutions, one traditional media firm, and 18 advertising agencies.
