An art exhibition launch ceremony was held in Qingzhen, a city-level county of Guiyang, Guizhou province in Southwest China, on March 16 by the publicity department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Qingzhen committee, the Qingzhen working committee and the Qinghen federation of literary and artistic circles.
The exhibition, which will last for 14 days, is being held in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party. In order to make a positive start to the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), artists have taken on the task of honoring history, memorializing the new era and encouraging people to move onwards.
More than 270 artworks are on display at the exhibition, including 50 calligraphic works, 50 paintings, 50 photographic works and over 120 craftworks. The pieces demonstrate how the Party members in the past led people to overcome their difficulties and obstacles to achieve the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
