Located in Qingzhen Vocational Education City in Qingzhen, a county-level city in Southwest China's Guizhou province, Guizhou Vocational College of Finance and Economics has recently welcomed its first batch of 1,522 students.

Approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government in April 2020 and filed by the Ministry of Education, the newly established college focuses on full-time general higher vocational education. It offers medium-level occupational education, with subject categories being mainly finance and economics.

The college grounds cover over 370,666 square meters, and the school has a planned total floorage of 174,000 sq m. At present, 137,000 sq m of the college's floor space has been completed.

Once construction on the school is finished, it will be able to accommodate 8,000 students.

The college has a collection of 159,800 paper books and 115,400 digital library resources. It has also built 33 modern on-campus training venues and facilities, including an economic simulation training base, a financial sharing center and a cloud smart finance center.

There are also 48 off-campus training bases, ranking among Guizhou's top colleges and universities of finance and economics thanks to its practical training facilities.

The establishment of Guizhou Vocational College of Finance and Economics will fill the gap of finance and economics professional colleges in Qingzhen Vocational Education City and provide strong technical and human resources support for Guizhou province's economic development.

Until now, Qingzhen Vocational Education City has introduced 15 colleges and universities, including Guizhou Vocational College of Finance and Economics, which accommodate approximately 140,000 teachers and students.
