Ancient Tea-horse Town is a boutique tourist destination and a tourism distribution center with a rich cultural atmosphere, rich experiences, beautiful natural environment and perfect reception facilities. 

With an estimated total investment of about 2.66 billion yuan($0.38 billion), the project covers an area of 754,666.67 square meters, on which a tea-horse culture park, a boutique hot spring resort hotel, a special commercial street and supporting entertainment facilities, a science and education museum, a Chinese medicine club and a tea-horse college will be constructed. 

The Heinishao ancient post road and archway within the boundary is one of the historical and cultural sites under state protection. The Ancient Tea-horse Town is one of the eight special towns in Guiyang in 2016, and also a key construction project of Guizhou Province in 2017.
